This invitation came out so well and was truly a collaborative effort with the client. The bride had seen a unique pocket fold invitation among the Vera Wang line. However we wanted to incorporate the beach elements and lavender bridesmaid colors. To fully appreciate the detail of this fun invitation click on the picture for a larger image and images of the jacket which guests opened like a gift. The jacket was created out of a sand colored shimmer paper to evoke the beach and the ribbon tie and slim border of lavender added the right touch of elegant color. The shell motif and invitation were printed in soft charcoal on a rich heavy cotton stock of ecru color to tie with the sandy colored jacket. | |

Chocolate and Lemon Drops were the inspiration for the colors this bride and groom selected for their wedding. Guests at the wedding were treated to beautiful lemon yellow rose and peony centerpieces with classic New England hydrangea. Signature lemon drop martinis and a candy table of chocolate delights rounded out the theme. The invitation was printed in a rich brown with a border printed with hydrangeas. The subtle border made sense to guests as they opened the inner envelope fully lined in clay hydrangea paper. |
